*gulp*

Whoa. An eight-year-old just compared me to Katy Perry. This is not good.

I was just trying to get into the spirit of the library's New Year's Eve party by wearing a '50s-style red dress and heeled sandals.

I mean, yes, I have dark hair and dark eyes and am wearing red lipstick, but Katy Perry?

What may be even more disturbing is that a girl that young is familiar enough with Katy Perry to make the comparison.

Yipes.

Haha, it's more your beauty that she was comparing. ;-)

who's katy perry, and why should i or you care what an unknown eight year old thinks?

wearing old clothes simply implies you might be a financially handicapped (aka laid-off) person.

lipstick is of the devil. you are being punished for wearing it...

hew!

You are correct, dear anonymous SFL. I should not care. Yet...I do, a little bit. :)

Also, yes, I am financially handicapped. Not laid off yet, but definitely handicapped. I rather like that definition.

And I have actually heard that "lipstick is of the devil" statement before. You may be right about that as well. ;)

of course.

anonymous people are always correct, or is that right? i get those two concepts confused.

well all you need to do is get your mug on a major internet news site and job offers and money will come gushing in. you'll be an overnight celebrity, bigger than whatever this katy perry is.

but...

all your dirty little secrets will be out as well, and you'll have to enter rehab.

so take you pick. i'm sure someone could arrange to get you famous, or is it infamous? i get those concepts confused all the time...

ps - i'm not anonymous, i just don't identify myself.
